Article Artwork

The art that accompanies articles has always fascinated me, so when Serato decided to release a blog I jumped at the opportunity to contribute. It wasn’t quite The New Yorker, but it was an amazing opportunity to develop artwork which conveyed a sense of story-telling and intrigue through design.

Whether it was creating artwork that spoke to the difficulty of maintaining a sense of self as a musician on social media, where to find something inspirational to watch, or what the latest DJ hardware deals were, I always aimed to go beyond the expected and engage the viewers appetite for information before they tucked in to the article.
